Protecting Mobile Agents by patching the execution platforms

Protecting mobile agents on visited hosts is a very active research area. In fact, mobile agent technology is considered as the future basic platform for an electronic services framework (Hohl, 1997). Especially in electronic commerce area, mobile agent technology requires strong security mechanisms. Approaches presented as yet can be classified into hardware based solutions and software based solutions.
