Subchannel power control for MC-CDMA system using fuzzy genetic algorithm

This paper is based on an application of signal to interference ratio (SIR) based power controller originally proposed for DS-CDMA system using fuzzy genetic algorithm (FGA), extended to MC-CDMA system. Instead of controlling the power of each of subcarrier, this algorithm assigns the same level of power to a band of subcarriers allocated to each subchannel. The proposed power control mechanism can be applied to MC-CDMA system in an uplink transmission.
