World class manufacturing culture: an approach developed in the IMOCIM project

Any form of improvement requires change. To be successful the change must be appropriate, planned, implemented and monitored. The need for UK manufacturing industry to become more competitive is well documented and is the subject of numerous reports. Here, the author describes the IMOCIM project which has been developed in response to the needs of UK manufacturing which will benefit from a systematic and systemic approach to improving competitiveness.<>
