Speedup of Nonlinear Iterative Scheme by Utilizing Convergence Characteristics of Newton-Raphson Method and ICCG Method

Generally, nonlinear magnetic field problems are computed by using an iterative matrix solver such as the ICCG method for linear equations obtained from a nonlinear iterative procedure of the Newton-Raphson method. In this paper, a method of selecting an efficient convergence criterion for the nonlinear analysis, which utilizes convergence characteristics of those two iterative methods, was investigated to reduce the total computation time
