Production and automated testing of Chrysler's engine control computer

The evolution of Chrysler engine controls through four generations is briefly described, as are the basic assembly operations involved in the manufacture of the microprocessor based products. A detailed description of the automated testing is given to show its role in providing Chrysler a highly reliable engine control computer.
