CB/motorist system

The presentation will introduce a new concept in motorist aid systems in which a disabled motorist is able to communicate directly from his vehicle to a centralized response dispatcher. This system which is called the Citizens Band Automatic Interconnect Digital System or CB-AIDS for short is presently being developed by Georgia Tech under the direction of the Federal Highway Administration. Also, to be presented will be a brief discussion of the need for Motorist Aid Systems, the elements of a MAS, and some of the MAS now being used in the U. S.
