The DIP project: putting semantics into web services

This paper introduces an ongoing EU research project within semantic web and web services technology project DIP (Data, Information and Process Integration with Semantic Web Services). Research challenges are introduced, application scenarios are presented and the potential impact and expected results are highlighted.
