SCOOL: application of hyper-document techniques to course materials

Computer supported tutorial systems are generally viewed as hyper documents in that author's didactic components are implicitly embedded in some form of tutorial knowledge representation or explicitly designed in a program for students-system feedback loop. SCOOL is an interactive persistent knowledge representation language designed for hyper document systems. In SCOOL, course materials are content-orientedly presented to students to increase their learning performance.
