Innovation Network Graph State Estimation Based PMUs

State estimation by innovation network graph approach has many merits in contrast to many other methods, but it is constructed in the DC load flow model. The advent of the phasor measurement units (PMUs) provides a chance to construct an innovation network graph in the AC load flow model. This paper presents a new state estimation method by innovation network graph in the AC load flow model, which is constructed by the phasor measurements of voltage and current provided by the PMUs. In this model, the corrective power is more accurate, the same is to the state vectors. With the AC load flow innovation network graph constructed, the performance of topology error identification is enhanced. After anomalies are identified, the state vectors can be calculated by the corrective flow and network parameters. The performances of the new method are illustrated via simulations performed on the IEEE 5-and the IEEE 30-bus system.
