Developing the UK submission to RRC06

The presentation describes the background to the TTU's Regional Radiocommunications Conference to be held in May/June 2006 (RRC-06) and the scope of the conference, which embraces over 100 countries and the whole of the VHF broadcasting band III and UHF bands IV and V. Attention is drawn to the interaction between the broadcasting service and other uses of this spectrum. The international, European and national preparations for RRC-06 has been outlined with particular emphasis on the initial submission of UK requirements made in February 2005 and the development of the UK's position for the next major step in the process and at the conference itself.
