Experiences with the new open-wye / open-delta transformer test cases for distribution system analysis

This panel presentation summary describes experiences with modeling a new test case added to the IEEE Radial Test Feeder suite in 2004. The case was implemented in an existing general-purpose distribution system analysis program by modifying the model previously used to study the standard "4-wire delta" test case. The published test case results were verified. Experience with the implementation and commentary on the test case is given.
