The effects of surface texture on the slider steady state flying characteristics of pico sliders

Recent experimental studies of textured sliders concentrated on the tribological properties of textured sliders. In this study, the steady state flying behavior of textured sliders is investigated using numerical simulation. The effect of slider texture is studied in terms of texture size, texture position and cross-section shape of texture.
