Estimation in three dimension of acoustical parameters distributions in phantoms

In this paper we describe an experimental method to obtain the acoustical parameters in phantoms using ultrasonic waves. The measurement technique is based on traditional pulse - echo method, with a single trausducer placed at a distance of p1 acrylic container. The transit times of an ultrasonic pulse are measured at a high sampling rate by a digital oscilloscope. The distances between the transducer and the container was obtained at environment's temperature and pressure. This metbod is able to monitor some acoustical parameters in a phantom.
