Protecting embedded error detection arithmetic coding from eavesdroppers

This work describes a technique for generating encrypted data from embedded error detection arithmetic coding called continuous error detection (CED). The proposed technique provides secure codes while maintains the performance of CED. The resulting coding is an efficient combined codec.
