The perspective of a regional transmission company in a competitive energy market

These remarks have been prepared as background for a panel presentation at the 2004 power systems conference and exposition. The panel discussion will focus on issues and events related to the title, which are current and topical at the time of the panel presentation. This paper discusses a regional transmission project and ATC planning process for transmission in the future.
