Microwave emission of foam with Kelvin's structure based on fast solutions of wave equations

The foam covered ocean surface is treated as densely packed air bubbles coated with thin layers of seawater. A more realistic structure, Lord Kelvin's tetrakaidecahedron with close to minimal contact surface area, is considered. We calculate the absorption coefficient at from 1.5 GHz to 36.5 GHz by using UV multilevel partitioning method (UV-MLP) to solve Maxwell's equations. Results of absorption coefficient for scalar waves are illustrated.
