Automatic model sharing and evaluation across "stovepipes" with Alias-i ThreatTrackers/spl trade/

This paper presents a brief introduction to a "share the questions" method for information sharing across 'stovepiped' agencies with Alias-i ThreatTrackers/spl trade/. This model offers an alternative to "share the data" approaches that are generally untenable for legal and procedural reasons. ThreatTrackers/spl trade/ are analyst-authored collections of entities, classes and keyword searches which function as a data collection tool and information access interface. They are effective mechanisms for recording an analyst's intent when tracking threats or other scenarios in a data feed. After describing the advantages of ThreatTrackers/spl trade/ over other analytical processes, the paper discusses how ThreatTrackers/spl trade/ can be shared across 'stovepiped' agencies. Data can be interchanged and answers returned to their originators despite the restrictions on inter-agency information sharing.
