3D object reconstruction from non-parallel cross-sections

We propose a 3D object reconstruction algorithm from non-parallel object cross-sections. The algorithm is based on two-dimensional morphological morphing, affine transform and cubic spline interpolation. The algorithm is developed for processing 3D freehand ultrasound data.
