Stabilization and pole placement with respect to state constraints: a robust design via LMI

In this paper, the pole placement problem for linear systems under state constraints is treated. We provide a theoretical and numerical approach to find a stabilizing state feedback control law making the system positively invariant and such that some closed-loop eigenvalues are located. Our numerical procedure is based on Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI).
