58 GHz TDD radio system

This paper describes a new design solution for a low cost and highly integrated radio equipment intended to be used in point to point radio links operating in the 57-59 GHz frequency band according to ETSI standard EN 300 408. This standard is consistent with the use of the time division duplex (TDD) system that allows for hardware design cost effective RF transceiver architectures. The whole design implementation is presented together with system test results.
