The dynamical inverse problem for a nonlinear Schrodinger equation using boundary control

The problem of determining the potential in a nonlinear one-dimensional Schrodinger equation from dynamical boundary observations is considered. The problem will be solved by a combination of a recent approximation technique for nonlinear dynamical systems, which reduces them to sequences of linear, time-varying systems, and the derivation of a spectral theory for these systems.
