Optimal transform coders for classification/reconstruction with joint decoding at the receiver

This paper describes the optimal transform coders for classification/reconstruction with joint decoding at the receiver. The receiver acquire a probability of error and reconstructs the signal incurring a weighted mean squared error (WMSE).
