Using DSC, chemiluminescence and FTIR to determine the oxidative stability of aged XLPE cable

In this paper, we describe DSC OIT technique to determine oxidative stability, namely chemiluminescence. This technique utilizes the fact that oxidative reactions involve the emission of light. Thus the photon versus time are measured related to the oxidation process.
