An implementation of a knowledge recommendation system based on similarity among users' profiles

In this paper, we propose a recommendation system which can share individuals' knowledge and know-how for research activity. The system can recommend interesting document files to users by collaborative filtering. In the system, we employ local similarity between users and global similarity between groups. Using this system, users can find out necessary knowledge and reuse knowledge effectively.
