Study on detecting abnormal construction of geology with multi-scale edges detecting method

In a seismic record, the amplitude varies with different geological surfaces; this variation is very like the variation of gray levels in images. Based on the image edge detection method, we have studied thin-bed recognition methods. Experimental results show that our method is very effective.
