An enclosure (Junction box) for passive electronics installed in near shore ocean bottom implantment

It is my intention to describe the action taken to provide protection for an installation which has been placed in a rigorous ocean environment. The equipment to be described is a junction box for submarine communications cables. The box is secured to the ocean bottom at 60 foot depth off a tropical beach. Figure 1
