Buoyant Module VHF Antenna Design for Submerged Systems/Aircraft Communications

The problem of VHF radio communications for a submerged body or submarine with aircraft or surface units has long been of interest to both military and maritime personnel. This paper describes a prototype communications system designed to provide VHF communications from a stationary or moving body or submarine at depth.
