Application of the boundary element method to electromagnetic scattering problems

The Boundary Element Method (BEM) is shown to be a viable mechanism for solution of electromagnetic (EM) scattering problems. A numerical technique, fully automated to cater for kernel singularities over arbitrary-shaped boundaries is described. Results for both TM (EFIE) and TE (MFIE) incidences on an infinitely long, perfectly conducting circular cylinder are presented.
