A Practical Method for Calibrating a Coaxial Noise Source with a Waveguide Standard

A practical method for calibrating a coaxial noise source with a waveguide standard has been developed by extending the adaptor-changing method proposed by Engen. A practical equation for its noise temperature, the measurement procedure, and the error analysis are described.
