An RF Field Strength Measurement System Using Unintegrated Optical Linear Modulator

An electrically small dipole or loop antenna may be mated with an integrated optical linear modulator and optical fibers to form a broadband, minimally perturbing, RF field strength measurement device. Good preliminary results have been obtained with the modulator prototype.
