Object Oriented Software Quality Assessment: A Machine Learning Perspective

In the Early stages of software development process, particularly throughout the design stage, software engineers, programmers, and quality assurance personnel can all benefit greatly from assessing maintainability. Early on in the design process, designers can make the necessary adjustments to their designs before writing any code, if object-oriented software maintainability can be foreseen. Experts and programmers alike stress how crucial it is to include maintainability assessment in the development lifecycle’s design phase. This study provides a paradigm for maintainability assessment that functions inside the design phase of the system development process. Additionally, the relationship between maintainability and its three main components—flexibility, homogeneity, and consistency—is validated using statistical analysis. The suggested framework has been validated by experimental trials. Ultimately, the research offers empirical support for the framework designed for maintainability evaluation.
