A Gradient Boosted Decision Tree Model for Intelligent Malware Prediction

Malware has become a severe threat to individuals and businesses, and there are limitations to traditional prevention methods. This paper proposes a Gradient Boosted Decision Tree (GBDT) model that predicts the likelihood of malware infecting a machine based on its properties and user behaviour.
