The analysis of the OTFS modulated signal ranging effect based on different pilot sequences

In order to solve the problem that the linear time-varying channel will lead to the decrease of the ranging and positioning accuracy of OFDM modulated signals in high-speed moving scenarios, a ranging method for OTFS modulated signals based on pilot sequences was proposed. Firstly, the construction expressions of three different pilot sequences are given, and then the basic method of OTFS modulated signal ranging based on pilot sequences is proposed. Finally, in the experimental simulation part, the autocorrelation of different pilot sequences and the ranging effect of OTFS modulated signal based on different pilot sequences are compared, and the results show that the CAN sequence has the best autocorrelation, and the OTFS ranging accuracy based on CAN sequence is the highest and is close to the lower bound of the Cramero (CRLB).
