Structural Design and Fabrication of Power Generation Floor Tiles

With rising global energy demands and issues surrounding traditional energy sources, developing new energy solutions is urgent. The potential energy from pedestrian footsteps indoors is often wasted, making mechanical energy recovery a research hotspot, where power-generating floor tiles show significant potential. This project designs a mechanical power-generating floor tile, noting that current research lacks sufficient attention to factors like depression height affecting pedestrians. Analysis confirms the solution's feasibility—capable of generating electricity during walking and secondary power generation, with electricity used for lighting/storage, demonstrating reference value for applications.
