Optimization model for site selection and capacity determination of distributed wind-solar-storage resources in pre-disaster stage of extreme events

Scientific allocation of wind and solar energy storage resources is an important guarantee for restoring power during disasters. A two-stage optimization model for the site selection and capacity determination of distributed wind-solar-storage resources in the pre disaster stage of extreme events is proposed in this paper. A Batts model for wind speed during typhoons and a failure rate model for distribution lines and equipment is established for typhoon levels. Using Monte Carlo method, different fault scenarios are simulted and the impact of typhoons on disaster areas is evaluated. The optimization in the pre disaster stage aims to minimize economic costs and restoration time to the greatest extent possible. Adaptive discrete particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to solve and determine the location and capacity of wind solar storage resource allocation. The feasibility and superiority of the proposed model is verified by using simulation calculations and analysis of examples.
