Vertically Polarized Electric Field Generator Based on a Monopole Antenna

In this paper, a vertically polarized electric field generator is designed for radiation immunity test in the frequency band of 1-30 MHz. The electric field generator consists of a 7.5 - meter monopole antenna and a transmission-line transformer, which is used to realize impedance transformation. The E-field generator is capable of generating an electric field intensity of $120 \text{dB} \mu \mathrm{V}/\mathrm{m}$ at a distance of 45 meters with an input continuous wave power of 100 W. It can help to ensure the reliability and stability of electronic equipment in harsh electromagnetic environments.
