Specialized Computer Control System for Hybrid Power Supply of Small Electric-Powered Vessel

The paper presents a specialized computer control system for hybrid power supply of small electric-powered vessel. The system is based on solar panels, a lithium-iron-phosphate battery, a diesel generator, an inverter, a frequency converter, and a brushless DC motor (BLDC). Control is carried out using a programmable logic controller, which automatically distributes energy flows in accordance with the selected consumption optimization method. This approach allows significantly increasing the energy efficiency, autonomy, and environmental friendliness of ship power plants.
