Automatic Detection of Radio Bursts with Frequency Integral Spectrum and Hough Transforms

In this study, we propose an automated method that combines frequency integral spectrum analysis with the Hough transform to identify outburst events in the solar radio spectrum. By leveraging the distinct characteristics of various radio events, we effectively differentiate between type II and type III events in the automatic detection results. Furthermore, we eliminate misclassified WBI, which enhances the validity and accuracy of the detection outcomes. This work may benefit the study of establishing a crucial foundation for space weather warnings and heliophysical research.
