Design of an Adjustable High-Precision Current Limiting Circuit

In order to effectively improve the efficiency of current limiting protection circuits in different situations, a highprecision current limiting circuit with adjustable current limiting value is designed to be applied in power management. The current limiting loop utilizes a sampling resistor to sample the output current in equal proportions with high sampling accuracy; A current limit value setting circuit is introduced to change the reference voltage of the current limit loop by adjusting the resistance value of the external resistor. The circuit is realized by $0.18 \mu m$ process, and the Cadence simulation results show that the designed circuit meets the design requirements in each parameter index, and has greater practical application value.
