Detecting abnormal operation of photovoltaic panels using fuzzy techniques

Solar energy has become an essential component of the transition to renewable energy sources. Photovoltaic systems have experienced rapid expansion due to their increased efficiency and decreased production costs. However, photovoltaic systems reliability is affected by various types of faults, which can significantly reduce generation efficiency and operational safety. In this context, the present paper explores monitoring and diagnostic techniques in photovoltaic panels, emphasizing the necessity and utility of implementing a mathematical model in MATLAB/Simulink software for accurate and predictive diagnosis of technical issues.
