Adaptive Fully Actuated Control for Combined Spacecraft Simulator with Unknown Inertial Parameters

This study investigates the attitude and position control of a combined spacecraft simulator with unknown inertia parameters. The research employs the Dynamic Regressor Extension and Mixing (DREM) method for the identification of unknown inertia parameters. To ensure that the state tracking error of the combined spacecraft simulator meets both transient and steady-state performance specifications, a prescribed performance function is incorporated into the control framework. By adopting a fully actuated system approach, an adaptive fully actuated prescribed performance controller is developed for the combined spacecraft simulator state error system with unidentified inertia parameters. The efficacy of the proposed control strategy is subsequently demonstrated through comprehensive simulations.
