Contactless Motion Control System for Magnetoactive Micro-Objects

The paper examines a contactless automatic control system, which is an electromechanical three-coordinate drive system of a permanent magnet, designed to control the movement of a magnetically filled spherical polymer body in a channel filled with viscous fluid. The study proposes a mathematical model that enables the investigation of the controlled motion dynamics of a magnetoactive object, taking into account the specific features of inhomogeneous magnetic field formation in the vicinity of the controlled object and allowing the implementation of various motion regimes of the body in the channel. The architecture of the control system is described, along with the specifics of its software and hardware implementation. The paper presents the results of mathematical modeling of object motion in different regimes and provides an analysis, and identifies the key patterns underlying the organization of controlled movement of magnetoactive micro-objects.
