Development of a Method for Centralized data Collection and Management for the AstraLinux Operating System

This paper presents a method for centralized data collection and management tailored for the AstraLinux operating system, addressing the gap left by the absence of Windows-based software tools in the nuclear power industry of the Russian Federation. The proposed solution replaces the traditional open platform communications server with a modified queueing system based on the "Basket Queue" algorithm, which groups requests by type rather than arrival time to optimize parallel execution. The system employs a dynamic queueing discipline to manage read and write requests efficiently, minimizing race conditions and ensuring data consistency. A modular client-server architecture is introduced to enhance scalability and flexibility, supporting various protocols for data exchange. Experimental results demonstrate the system’s superiority over conventional methods like CREW and EREW, particularly in scenarios with high write request volumes. The study highlights the system’s stability and efficiency, making it a viable solution for industrial applications requiring robust data management.
