Improvement of Cross-team Collaboration in Large-scale Agile Organizations Using AI and ML Algorithms

The main aim of this paper is to present an approach on how to improve cross-team collaboration in large-scale agile organizations. The most critical point that will be discussed is timing synchronization between many different stakeholders to produce a deliverable. Time-boxing is at the heart of agility so if something goes wrong there the whole value deliverable chain will be broken. Still as we can expect teams will be delayed and timing will be broken. As an example, the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) organizational structure will be used to show how important is the timing alignment of all teams.The approach we propose involves the use of modern AI and ML algorithms to first understand how the time-boxed deliverables happen over time and then to be able to forecast future deliverables. By doing so the organization will ensure that team collaboration can be improved, and deliverables achieved, and customer needs will be satisfied.
