Driver Drowsiness Detection and Adaptive Braking System

Road accidents due to driver fatigue account for a significant percentage of incidents. This paper introduces a Driver Drowsiness Detection and Adaptive Braking System aimed at improving road safety through drowsiness detection, lane keeping, and adaptive braking. By integrating computer vision, fuzzy logic, and multi-sensor fusion, the system ensures timely alerts, smooth braking, and seamless transitions between manual and autonomous driving modes. It also addresses challenges in existing systems, offering economic and environmental benefits through reduced accidents and emissions.
