Design and Analytical Evaluation of Transmitter-Receiver (TR) Modules for Radar System Applications

This paper presents a comprehensive simulation and performance evaluation of RF front-end systems using Keysight SystemVue. The study emphasizes spectral analysis, cascaded gain modeling, and system-level noise characterization across various stages in a wireless communication chain. A complete RF transceiver signal path, including mixers, amplifiers, filters, and antenna path loss modeling, is developed and analyzed. In contrast to these hardware-focused implementations, this paper provides a simulation-driven approach for evaluating end-to-end signal power behavior and system gain distribution in RF front-end chains. Our simulations replicate real-world system impairments such as path loss, filter roll-off, and amplifier non-linearity, and demonstrate how proper gain alignment and spectral shaping can maximize signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and suppress out-of-band emissions. The goal is to deliver a practical, simulation-based methodology that aids in design validation and optimization of modern RF receiver architectures.
