Quadra Wideband Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna for 5G,6G, and mmWave Application

The suggested design is a high-gain rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) with various frequency band operations. The frequency bands it covers include X, K, and Ka bands. To improve performance, the antenna has two well-placed circular and rectangular cuts on its Defected Ground Structure (DGS) and a microstrip feed. These design components help the antenna be suited for high-frequency applications by improving impedance matching, controlling current distribution, and increasing bandwidth. The antenna operates ideally in each frequency band, thanks to a comprehensive investigation of the realized gain, impedance matching, and radiated electric fields. This antenna is especially effective because of its high gain. The four resonant frequencies of 10.5GHz, 22.3GHz,32.6GHz, and 39.1GHz were found. Good impedance matching is seen at the operating frequencies shown in Figure 2 at 10.5GHz S11 = -21.49 dB covering a frequency of 9.87 to 11.31GHz, its bandwidth is 13.8%, at 22.3GHz S11=20.87dB covering a frequency of 22.46GHz-24.09GHz its bandwidth is 6.99%, at 32.6GHz S11=48.67dB and 39.1 GHz S11 = - 18.58dB covering a frequency of 37.24GHz to 40.53GHz its bandwidth is 8.41%, Q factor of 10.5GHz is 7.291, for 22.3GHz is 9.13, for 32.6GHz is 9.421 and for 39.1GHz is 11.884. a gain of 7.45dB at 10.5GHz, 7.64dB at 23.3GHz, 8.52dB at 32.6GHz and 9.25dB at 38.8GHz, and radiation efficiency was found to be more than 92.48% within the targeted working frequency spectrum 9.87 to 11.31GHz, more than 94.92% within the targeted working frequency spectrum of 22.46GHz- 24.09GHz, more than 97.89% within the targeted working frequency spectrum of 30.66GHz-34.12GHz and more than 98.81% within the targeted working frequency spectrum of 37.24GHz-40.53GHz. This antenna is especially well-suited for applications where dependable, high-performance operation is essential, such as satellite communications, military aircraft, defense tracking systems, and radar communication systems.
