A Flexible Metasurface for MRI Enhancement Based on Flexible Electronic Printing Technology

There is a grow interest for digital metasurfaces due to their multifunction, such as holographic imaging, polarization conversion, and wave absorption. However, conventional metasurfaces frequently employ rigid structures, which impede their ability to achieve exceptional conformality and render them more susceptible to damage during bending due to metal fatigue. To address these challenges, we have delved into flexible electronic printing technology as a novel approach for fabrication of flexible metasurface. The flexible metasurface can be adapted to the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) coil, thereby facilitating its utilization in enhancing the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of MRI.
