AI-Driven Smart Compound System for Secure Access and Intelligent Parking Management

Smart compound systems are crucial for increasing security, parking efficiency, and access management in residential as well as commercial environments. Using deep learning and computer vision technologies, this project offers an integrated AI-driven parking and access management solution. The system provides accurate and instant vehicle identification and access control through the use of Tesseract OCR for license plate character recognition and YOLOv8 for high-performance object detection [1],[2],[3].Residents and guests can register their cars, reserve parking slots, and get real-time notifications using a mobile-based interface developed using Flutter and Firebase. For a smooth user experience, the system also interfaces with payment gateways and offers dynamic pricing based on environmental events . Through a secure dashboard, property managers can access gate activity and vehicle data, with ONNX-based AI models used for inference. High dependability was established by extensive testing in real-world situations, with fine-tuning and data augmentation leading to 98.47% precision, 98.54% recall, and 98.58% mAP@0.5. The system’s efficacy as a scalable smart solution is confirmed by these outcomes.
