Optimal operation of integrated energy system considering demand response under carbon trading mechanism

The integrated energy system is an effective way to achieve the goal of " double carbon. " In order to further explore the role of its demand-side adjustable potential in carbon emission reduction, an optimal operation model of integrated energy system considering demand response under carbon trading mechanism is proposed. Firstly, according to the load response characteristics, the demand response is divided into two types : price-based demand response model and substitution-based demand response model. The price-based demand response model based on price elasticity matrix and the substitution-based demand response model considering the mutual conversion of electric energy and thermal energy on the energy side are established respectively. Secondly, the baseline method is used to allocate carbon emission quotas for the system, and a carbon trading mechanism for the integrated energy system is constructed by considering the actual carbon emissions of gas turbines and gas boilers. Finally, a low-carbon optimal operation model of integrated energy system is established with the minimum sum of energy purchase cost, carbon transaction cost and operation and maintenance cost as the objective function, and the effectiveness of the proposed model is verified by four typical scenarios. Through the analysis of the sensitivity of demand response, the heat distribution ratio of gas turbine and the operating state of the system under different carbon trading prices, it is found that the reasonable distribution of price-based and alternative demand response and the heat production ratio of gas turbine are conducive to improving the operation economy of the system, and the formulation of a reasonable carbon trading price can achieve the coordination of system economy and low carbon.
